A 7-day lockdown for Blayney, Cabonne and Orange LGA’s has been announced, effective 12:00am Wednesday 21 July until 12:00am Wednesday 28 July.
Stay at home rules apply to anyone who lives in these three local government areas or has visited since Saturday 17 July 2021.
Masks are mandatory in all indoor places and must be carried at all times when leaving the house.
If you live or work in these areas, you need to stay at home and will only be able to leave home for:
- Shopping for food or other essential goods and services; (retail butchers are open)
- Medical care or compassionate needs (including to get a COVID-19 vaccine);
- Exercising outdoors with 1 other person and within your LGA or within 10km of your home;
- Essential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home.
Businesses permitted to stay open under the public health order, must follow the rules in place including:
You must not enter the Blayney, Cabonne and Orange local government areas without a reasonable excuse.
