ACT will remain in lockdown until midnight on Friday 15 October.

Chief Minister Andrew Barr has announced that the ACT will remain in lockdown for a further month, after 22 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in the 24 hours to 8.00pm last night.

From 11:59pm this Friday, the following slight changes to current restrictions will include:

  • The recommencement of outdoor social and recreational sport with up to five people. This does not permit organised competition, coaching or training to recommence
  • Small businesses that are currently permitted to operate a click-and-collect or delivery service can have up to five people in the business at any one time or one person per four square metres, whichever is lesser.
