Wednesday 8 September 2021
NSW Health have published the Public Health (COVID-19 Additional Restrictions for Delta Outbreak) Order (No2) Amendment (No6) Order 2021, which commenced 4pm Sunday 5 September.
In order to work outside their area of concern, authorised workers must now have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by Sunday 19 September.
Authorised workers who are not yet vaccinated will have until the end of today, Wednesday 8 September to book their vaccination.
From 9 September, authorised workers will be required to carry evidence of their booking if they wish to leave their LGA for work.
If an authorised worker is not vaccinated or does not have a medical contraindication form, they will not be able to work outside their LGA after Sunday 19 September.
Vaccination is highly encouraged and workers from the LGAs of concern are offered priority bookings for vaccination.
As previously advised, workers will need to register for travel if leaving Greater Sydney or leaving or entering an LGA of concern for employment purposes.
All previously issued 14-day travel permits have been extended to Thursday 30 September.
Authorised workers must still carry their travel registration and supporting documents at all times.
