AMIC’s showcase national retail event, the Sausage King, Best Butchers Burger and Smallgoods National Finals, were held in Adelaide in February 2023, with the winners being announced at the IKON pack National AMIC Awards Dinner.
With over 30 regional and state competitions held throughout 2022, along with state finals, hundreds of independent butchers competed across Australia for the chance to be crowned national champions. The winner of the National Apprentice of the Year competition showcasing the best talented apprentice butchers was also announced.
