We would like to introduce you to our new economic update series, kicking off this month, which I hope you will find useful and informative.
We are trialling our new updates for a period of three months, after which we will send out a short poll to gather your feedback.
The updates are a quick read on the most recently released data relevant to AMIC members; what are the numbers, what are the drivers, and what are the implications for red meat processors and retailers.
The series starts with a look at the most recent export market data; what are the trends and latest projections. Future updates will include a look at input cost data, retail meat prices and domestic consumption figures, and the latest industry fundamentals relating to gross value of production, value added, and employment.
